Chris O'Connor, Founder and Owner

Slainte Wines is the culmination of a dream and more than three decades of experience in the beverage industry for Chris. His path was set over two decades ago when he served as a sommelier (really a glorified bartender and beverage deliverer) in the Hamptons, New York. That experience led to a position with E&J Gallo Winery where he deepened his knowledge, sales skills, and passion for the wine industry. Seven years at Gallo established Chris as a notable cruise line sales expert, leading to an invitation to join Robert Mondavi as national duty free accounts manager. His seven years with Mondavi included unprecedented back-to-back Salesmen of the Year awards, innovative sales promotions, and a growing reputation for the highest standard of customer service and satisfaction. In 2004, Chris founded Slainte Wines. Since then, the company has grown to include eight employees and is regarded as one of the premier wine, spirits and beer brokerages for the duty-free and cruise line industries. Chris is a board member and actively involved with the Cruise Line Industry Association (CLIA).

Erin Landry, Vice President

Erin has nineteen years of sales experience in the hospitality and wine industry. She is a graduate of Florida State University's Dedman School of Hospitality and worked with Hyatt Hotels and Republic National Distributing Company on Hilton Head Island, SC before joining Slainte Wines in 2010. Erin is a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators, is a first level with the Court of Master Sommeliers and is a Certified Sake Professional with the Sake Education Council.

Rebecca Berhow, Director of Logistics

Rebecca has over 25 years in customer service and managerial experience. She has been with Slainte Wines since almost the beginning. With a Bachelor in Managerial Studies from Winthrop University, she is a mother of one and is a Florida native.

Thelma Condon, Controller

Thelma has over 25 years of senior level accounting, management, budgeting and forecasting experience in various industries, such as advertising, retail, insurance, communications and vending. Thelma holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Pace University in New York City. She has lived in South Florida with her two children for the past 26 years. She is fluent in Spanish.

Edward Coddington, IT and Website Development

Ed has been involved with computers since grade school. Having worked for IDN Telecom, in the cell phone industry then moving to Acclaim Entertainment in the video game industry finally settling at Specialty Data Corporation where he was designing and deploying what was at the time the largest private Internet Service Provider on Long Island NY. Ed has over 18 years of practical working experience in all aspects of network administration, computer programming and engineering.

Paul McMan, Account Rep

Paul joined the Slainte team in December 2007 as an Account Manager following his relocation from Vail, Colorado. Paul brings with him 18 years of sales and account managment experience. His background includes sales, customer relations and human resources within the ski resort and software industries, including exposure to the PEO industry from the client's perspective.
